VIRGINITY DOES NOT GUARANTEE STABLE MARRIAGE
Virginity does not guarantee stable marriageIn this article I’ll be taking us through a topic: virginity does not guarantee a stable marriage. We all heard the story of Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, a woman of virtue with a lot to learn from her. The young Mary was a virgin before she begot Jesus according to the Holy Scripture (Bible), she got married to her Joseph but had never had anything together as husband and wife before Holy Spirit took charge and got pregnant without sexual intercourse.
According to an English dictionary, virginity is a state or characteristic of being a virgin while virgin is a person who has never had sexual intercourse, or sometimes, one who has never engaged in any sexual activity at all. From human perspective, Both male and female could be a virgin but most time this virginity of a thing has been tagged to female only, which means people don’t care if a male is a virgin or not but sometimes to female side, the reverse is the case.
In West Africa if not the whole of Africa, virginity of female is one of the major priority to be kept before marriage, unlike the western world where females are free to have sexual intercourse after age 18. This happens everywhere in the world, where there are many sexual relationship among the youths most especially within age 15-26 before marriage.
There are many reasons female remain a virgin prior their wedding night which include religion teachings or doctrine, orientation from parents or family base, self-determination, lack of opportunity/sex partner, and facial beauty. The aforementioned reasons are common in which one or two of it may be a reason for a female to stay being a virgin till her honeymoon; I’ll not able to analysis the reasons one after the other to avoid missing out the main content, so, we’ll able to hitting the nail on the head.
Most women who probably encounter problems in their marriage might be because they were busy focusing on how not to lose their virginity before marriage while unknowingly neglecting other importance aspects to have a happy home because they thought that’s all they needed for stable. Unfortunately, many wives today use that as reference that ‘’had it been you didn’t met me a virgin you would have said I have been doing rubbish before you met me’’, when they are having bad time with their husband. They fail to understand it takes more than being a virgin to have a stable home. When you are met a virgin but you have no knowledge of how to make a happy home.
I know most ladies will not agree with me on this and it is not that I am trying to discourage any virgin lady out there; 10 percent of men would marry for love while the 90 would probably marry because of peace of mind. You would have heard a man saying I love this lady but I can’t marry her because she’s not giving me peace of mind; if a man realized a peace of mind he desires in a whore, he would prefer to marry the whore than getting himself married to a virgin lady who always find fault, excuses and create a fight and quarrel every time with lack of respects. A woman that doesn’t understand, respect and tolerant her husband is putting her home into the hands of another ladiy who can satisfy him.
Once again virginity does not guarantee stable marriage, good character, respect for your partner, being supportive and problem solving skills does. Funny enough some ladies do have all the aforementioned before they married them but later change and even bring some latent behaviours which they have not display before; you would now hear a man making statement like ‘’is this the lady I married 2 years ago’’ she is, she just thought she doesn’t need the character anymore because she has gotten what she wanted by getting herself married to you and she is not feeling comfortable with the character again. So, this is one of those things that causes problem in Marriages. I’ll like to stop here before this article turn to a text book.
To sum this up, I still emphasize that virginity does not guarantee stable home and marriage. Ladies need to learn how to create a stable home by learning how to give their partner peace of mind; understanding, tolerance, and respect them. I don’t need anybody to agree with me on this but I’m telling you after the second year of marriage the love would have started fading away only trust, understanding and tolerance will keep the marriage going.

This is a time to rise as the giant that we are and approach the situation on ground as a one Nigerian in prayers, steadfastness, love, humility, care, and support.The need for togetherness is because we are stronger with one voice as a nation irrespective of our individual differences.
Aside the dispute between the Former Governor of Ogun State Olusegun Osoba and the Chief Justice to the United Kingdom Justice George Oguntade, Former APC Chairman Adams Oshiomole and Governor Godwin Obaseki, The President of Nigeria President Mohammedu Buhari and the former vice president & Presidential Candidate Atiku and so on. There are so many disputes in the country among our political leaders.
For us to overcome this menace (Corona Virus) as a nation, it is highly demanded that we let love lead and not mischief,hatred,anger, revenge, threat and fear. For together we can overcome, conquer and make the nation a loving, peaceful and harmonious place for every citizen.

girlfriend, Bukunmi Aisha, this is coming after she changed her last
name on Instagram.
We can all recall that the couple have been engaged since 2018, after Olamide Adedeji, proposed to her.
The couple have been together for almost 8 years now, and welcomed their first son, Maximiliano Adedeji in 2015.
It seems their relationship has taken a huge turn now, as they might just be legally married.
